Product Description
Following the success of our CZ455 and 457 scope bases, it only made sense for us to begin to roll out bases for Anschutz rifles.
This design, made from a single piece of T7075 aluminum and machined in house on our Haas VF4SS 4 axis machining center is designed to slide onto the dovetail and be clamped down with a force that is consistent across the entire rail – and strong enough that your rimfire will never budge it. Bases will come Type III black hardcoat anodized and will come with the necessary wrench for torquing the clamp screws.
Recommended torque spec: 22 in/lb (2.5 NM)
Our rail comes in a 30MOA cant as it is meant for guys pushing their 22LRs out to 300+ yards or using optics with a minimum of 60MOA internal elevation, zeroing at 50y. We added real estate to the front of the rail to allow you to move your optic forward. This helps on higher powered scopes when coupled with the smaller stocks that are normal on a rimfire. This base is a little taller than the popular set-screw models (our rail adds a total of about 1/2″ of height to the dovetail) but by using lower height rings/mounts you should be able to retain a similar over bore height and maintain a good cheek weld without any riser.
Since we are good guys, and the machine would already be working in the area, we decided to build in a level to the base. The material is flared out in the area to provide optimum viewing when in the prone position without much movement if any.

Love the side screws
Very cool. I installed the 15 MOA rail ( on my new Anschutz 1761 .22lr ) by first bumping it along the dovetail grooves with the palm of my hand until it was almost in place, then gently tapping a rubber hammer to micro align it with the ejection area. Perfect. I torqued the four SIDE screws to the recommended 22 in/lbs. A big reason I bought this 419 rail instead of another brand is because of those side screws. Side screws are so much better than having top screws digging into the top of the dovetail that wasn’t tapped. The side screws on the 419 rail don’t touch the rifle’s 11mm dovetail. Therefore, there is no damage to the round-top dovetail. I’m super glad that Area 419 chose to make a rail for my 1761, giving me so many more options for scope rings. I mounted a scope with a large objective lens, so this rail works extremely well. Awesome purchase!
