The all new BAT Hammerhead action purpose built for competition shooting.
Action Features:
- Short Action Right Handed only
- 75 degree 2 lug bolt
- AW Mag cut, accept both AW and AICS mags
- Dual position bolt stop for standard length and BR/Dasher length, shorter length is .350″ shorter than standard
- Improve cycling speed with a shorter bolt lift and shorter bolt pull
- Remington 700 Footprint with Integrated Full 20 MOA Picatinny rail and integrated .250″ recoil lug
- Extended ejection port for those high performance cartridges
- Available in Standard .480″ and Magnum .550″ bolt faces, can swap bolt faces between the two
- Entire action and bolt Black Nitride+
- 720″ diameter 75 degree spiral fluted modular bolt, can swap bolt faces without replacing entire bolt
- Wire EDM cut lug-ways with 0035″ bolt to body clearance that is optimal for field use
- Tool-less field serviceable and Melonited firing pin assembly
- 1.0625″ x 18 Tenon threads, will not work with standard REM 700 prefit barrels
- Unknown Munitions offers prefit barrels for all BAT actions
- M16 Extractor for Standard and Magnum bolt face, DLC Coated
- Replaceable bolt knob with 5/16-24 threads, titanium bolt knobs available HERE
- Available exclusively from Unknown Munitions, an Authorized BAT Machine dealer
- Works with our UM DBM and Mag with 2.890″ inside mag length

The TR action has been upgraded and replaced by the Hammerhead action with these changes:
- 75 degree bolt throw
- Two bolt stops included (one for Dasher length & one for standard)
- More bolt stop area and Larger bolt stop pin
- Bolt Stop pin now comes from the top
- Adjustment screw to stop upward travel of center feed boxes
- Softer Ejector spring
- Easier to snap over M-16 extractor
- No recessed bolt nose
- No trigger hanger
- Improved looks and different bolt knob shape
